What it does

Sell downloadable files with access attached to the paid order. Downloads uses the digital product capability and creates an entitlement for each active asset, rather than exposing the storage path as a public product link. This is the file-delivery module, not the pool of one-time codes offered by Digital Delivery. 2

Requirements

Agovena Core ^0.0.1. The manifest declares no additional package dependency. Use the matching Core release and apply the module migrations. 1

Set up the package

Enable the module, apply its migrations and add the digital capability to the product. Attach an active asset with its storage disk, path, customer-facing filename and download limit. Keep the file on a storage disk available to the application. Place a test order and check access from the intended customer account before publishing the product.

Operation and failure handling

Payment fulfillment skips an entitlement already present for the same order and asset. Downloading checks access availability, asset activity and file existence, then increments the counter under a database lock. An inactive asset, exhausted allowance or missing file stops delivery with a validation error. Restore the file or correct the entitlement instead of sending an unrestricted storage URL. 2
