Shipping

What it does

Add shipping methods, country zones and shipment records to products with shippable. Core Physical supports free, flat, order-price, weight and zone-based rates. Carrier-specific label creation remains the responsibility of an extension such as PostNL. 2

Requirements

Agovena Core ^0.0.1. The manifest declares no additional package dependency. Use the matching Core release and apply the Core capability migrations. 1

Set up the package

Core Physical commerce and its migrations are available automatically. Configure country coverage, active methods and currency. Add shippable and weight_grams to physical products. Rate amounts use minor currency units and weight thresholds use grams. Test the smallest and largest eligible baskets and every supported destination. Connect a carrier only when you need its label and tracking workflow.

Operation and failure handling

Method eligibility checks currency, zone activity and subtotal or weight bounds. Tier selection uses the first matching tier; an unmatched or malformed tier configuration returns zero, so check gaps before publishing rates. Carrier dispatch requires a paid order and reuses an existing external reference. Tracking updates can move shipments through shipped and delivered states. A locally cancelled shipment is not evidence that a carrier label was cancelled. 2
